Good morning, New Braunfels.

New Braunfels resident Tanya Paniagua — known for sharing Christmas magic with families in need for years — will receive official recognition this season for her community service.

Comal ISD will adopt later start and end dates for the 2026-2027 and 2027-2028 school years to adjust for state testing changes in the district.

The new calendars are under review to better align with testing requirements.

New Braunfels City Council recognized Landa Park train conductor David Schoenvogel for 40 years of service bringing smiles to park visitors.

He has dedicated his career to creating warm memories at the park (a local favorite) and now earns official acknowledgment from the council.
