At the New Braunfels Independent School District board meeting on Sept.
8, principal Greg Hughes introduced seniors Holt and Abbott as the September Seniors of the Month. The school recognized their strong efforts — a move that celebrates student achievement — and will honor more outstanding students in future months.

Comal County’s Commissioners Court declared Constitution Week on Sept.
18 (marking the Constitution’s 283rd birthday) and planned events will take place later this week.
