  • At Goodwin Frazier Elementary, incoming kindergartener Charlie Killian searched for her name tag and put away her supplies in her cubby on Thursday during Meet the Teacher night (a sign that the new school year is beginning) as she looked forward to learning and making friends.  Herald-Zeitung

  • Comal County Commissioners Court considered changing towing agreements after Administrator Tom Hornseth—who spoke on Aug. 14—suggested new terms, and wrecker companies voiced opposition to the proposed changes.  Herald-Zeitung
