GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The New Braunfels City Council approved a paid parking system for downtown set to start on July 7th that moves about 238 on-street spaces to a digital platform where the first hour is free and each extra hour costs $2 with a $10 daily maximum—drivers can pay by scanning a QR code, texting, or calling while disabled veterans are exempt. Parking Ambassadors will help guide drivers and manage the new system to ease congestion. FOX 7
