- ➤ Texas legislators passed a new bail reform package that now goes to Governor Greg Abbott for approval. The package gives judges the right to deny bail for violent offenders — a move intended to protect public safety and support victims. FOX 7
- ➤ The Texas Senate approved changes to a bill that will ban THC products and the bill is now on Governor Abbott's desk. If approved, the law will take effect in September — banning consumable hemp products containing THC with the exception of CBD and CBG. FOX 7
