New Braunfels ISD is rethinking the Silver Unicorn Award—a program that has honored community members since 1965—after adding a Long Creek dragon mascot.

The district will decide how to proceed with the award in the near future.

TxDOT will close the Business I-35 bridge (over Guadalupe River) at night for planned maintenance (through April 18) to complete construction work.
