Good morning, New Braunfels.

The Comal County Junior Livestock Show ended on Friday when local students displayed steers and heifers hoping to secure Grand or Reserve awards using tried-and-true judging methods.

New Braunfels resident Daad Abighanem, a colorectal cancer survivor diagnosed in 2022, now leads local advocacy for improved screening practices.

He uses his experience (and determination) to enhance community health awareness.
