About this event

Did you know that plants have been traditionally used for medicine, to make tools, to create color dyes and more? To continue celebrating Indigenous Heritage, let us acknowledge the Indigenous Peoples and communities connected to this region, both historically and today, along with the historical connections to native flora and how we can be better stewards of the land we’re on. Participants will have the opportunity to discover the native plants, wildlife and insects that live at the preserve and fill out a nature passport along the way! This is a family and kid friendly event.
