About this event
Join us for a 7-mile, rugged , moderately brisk pace, exploratory hike in Purgatory Creek Natural Area in San Marcos. The park features limestone cliffs, ashe juniper groves, live oaks, grassland meadows, and ephemeral wetlands. There are no wet creek crossings expected. No pets please.
Participants must sign a Liability Waiver at the trailhead. You may view the waiver document here .
Added bonus: After the hike, some of us may want to attend Wurstfest in New Braunfels (free admission on Mondays).
