About this event
Join us on Sunday, November 22nd, 2026, at 10 AM for a scenic hike through Upper Purgatory Creek Natural Area in San Marcos! We'll enjoy beautiful scenery, fresh air, and some good conversations while getting to know each other.
After the hike, we'll head over to Taquitos Mi Rancho (413 Riverside Dr, San Marcos, TX 78666) for some delicious tacos and more socializing! 🌮🙂
The Plan: 📍 10:00 AM: Meet at the Upper Purgatory Creek Trailhead parking lot 🥾 10:30 AM: Hit the trail! 📍 11:45 AM–12:00 PM: Finish hiking and head for tacos 🌮 12:00–1:00 PM: Tacos and socializing 🚗 Free parking is available at the trailhead, with approximately 29 parking spaces. The access road is partially unpaved.
This event is: 🐶 Dog-friendly (leashes required) 👨👩👦 Family-friendly 🥾 Easy to moderate (some uneven terrain and gentle inclines) Bring comfortable walking shoes and plenty of water!
