San Marcos Bird Walk

About this event

Stephen Ramirez leads a wonderful monthly San Marcos Bird Walk. In conjunction with SMGA, he aims to introduce people to birding and establish a strong birding community in our area. Read more on Stephen’s website at http://birdsiview.org/SanMarcosBirdWalks.html. And don’t miss his blog, maps, and awesome photos - available via the links on the top and the left side of the page.

The location of each month's walk will be updated here as soon as it is determined.

Be sure to bring binoculars if you have them, as well as other items you'll need on a hike.

Please Note: Birding is about moving slowly and quietly. If your young ones are loud and rambunctious, this may not be the right event for them. That said, if your children are excited to come out, eager to learn, and will behave accordingly, we'd love to have them!

Also Note: Details of SMGA events are subject to change (particularly due to weather). Before you attend, please check back to confirm dates, times, and places. Thanks!
